Welcome to ASU!

Welcome to ASU!

My college days (right here at ASU – Carey Business 1983) were some of the happiest days … discovering life, my vocation, and a lot of fun – I was quite active in my fraternity (Sigma Chi). But having the Presence of the Church nearby… where I could go to pray and worship, be forgiven, find a steady Hand to guide, meet some amazing fellow students… it kept me grounded.

Mary College – a satellite of the University of Mary whose main campus is in Bismarck, ND – operates out of our old St. Mary’s church here onsite. The college has an academic partnership with ASU and offers Catholic Studies courses, weekly theological debates and presentations.

Here at ASU Catholic Newman Center you’ll find plenty of opportunities for the Mass, confessions… the Adoration Chapel is a haven for some quiet and conversation with Christ. You’ll also find a rather sizeable student community who go on retreat together, gather throughout the day in our lounge, join together in small groups throughout the week, hit Mill Avenue after College Night on Tuesdays… there’s no aversion to fun around here. Bottom line – here’s where we can encounter the Living Christ.

Look forward to seeing you around!
