Pilgrimage
“To go on pilgrimage really means to step out of ourselves in order to encounter God where he has revealed himself, where his grace has shone with particular splendor and produced rich fruits of conversion and holiness among those who believe.” – Pope Benedict XVI
Each Fall semester, Mary College at ASU offers a course that culminates in a pilgrimage to Rome, Subiaco, Assisi, and Orvieto, tracing the footsteps of Apostles, martyrs, and saints. From basilicas to ruins, tombs of saints to artistic masterpieces, encounter the Catholic imaginative vision like never before in the heart of Western Christendom, enjoying a full itinerary of private Masses and private tours led by Mary College faculty at the most important historic and holy sites of the early Church.
