In the midst of academic pressure, social challenges, and the search for purpose, college students need a break from their college life to stop and to hear God's voice. Newman Center retreats provide that space, offering students the chance to grow in friendship with Jesus, discover their vocation, and return to campus refreshed, rejuvenated, and re-energized to live their faith with Christian zeal.

Retreats We Offer
Freshmen Retreat
Starting college is one of life's biggest transitions. Our Freshmen Retreat offers new students a welcoming space to navigate this change with faith and friendship. This fall weekend helps freshmen build community with their peers, discover support in their new campus home, and ground themselves in Christ as they begin this exciting chapter. Through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and prayer, students form lasting friendships and find their place in the Newman community, setting a strong foundation for their college journey.

Sun Devil Awakening Retreat
Awakening is designed to "awaken" hearts to the beauty of Christ's love and His Church. Through intentional community, inspiring talks, activities, and intercessory prayer, participants step away from daily distractions to reflect, heal, and rediscover their purpose in God's loving plan.
When: Fall 2026 - Open to all ASU students, regardless of religious background.

SEEK Conference
SEEK is the premier national Catholic gathering for college students and young adults, organized by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). This multi-day conference brings thousands together for:
- Inspiring keynote speakers
- Live worship music
- Daily Mass and sacraments (Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration)
- Networking with Catholic ministries nationwide
It's a life-changing experience of encountering Jesus Christ and equipping young people to share their faith.
