Porters of St. Joseph

The Porters of St. Joseph is a devout Catholic security apostolate with the mission to provide a safe environment so the Faithful can worship God in peace and security. We build teams of faithful men who have felt the call to serve the Church by putting their courageous, masculine hearts at the service of the parish, while at the same time, forming bonds of Christian brotherhood with like-minded men.

The Porters are men of virtue and vigilance who are dedicated to protecting the Blessed Sacrament and the faithful during Mass. They receive ongoing, professional training in self-defense, de-escalation, critical incident response & church safety in order to discreetly and charitably harden our parish against threats while maintaining the Church’s mission to save souls.
