Lector

The ministry of Lector is a privileged opportunity to proclaim the word of God at Mass in the midst of the liturgical assembly. Lectors must be at least 18 years of age, and should be desirous of a deeper relationship with the word of God through personal prayer and Bible study. No experience is required, and training sessions are held at the beginning of each semester. Outside of training, the main time commitment is to prepare privately for proclamation and to arrive 15 minutes early for Mass. Lectors serve both at Sunday Mass and at daily Mass.
